Foundation Awards 40K in Scholarships

  

Bragg Scholarship Recipient and Chelan High School Graduate Taylor McClellan will pursue her doctorate in audiology at Pacific University this August.

Chelan, WA, June 25, 2014: Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation recently awarded $40,000 in college scholarships to 23 local recipients. The Foundation plans to provide $80,000 in scholarship awards to current and future healthcare professionals in the Lake Chelan Valley by the end of the year.

Nesha Holloway is one of 19 local students to receive a Bragg scholarship from the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation.

Chelan, WA, July 18, 2013: Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation recently awarded $30,000 in college scholarships to 19 local recipients. The Foundation plans to provide $60,000 in scholarship awards to current and future healthcare professionals in the Lake Chelan Valley by the end of the year.   

"We are grateful to Edna Bragg for allowing us the opportunity to support healthcare education in such an impactful way," said LCCH Foundation Scholarship Chair Linda Parker. “She left a generous legacy gift that will allow us to assist in educating healthcare professionals for generations to come.”

Chelan, WA, April 24, 2014: Lake Chelan Community Hospital (LCCH) Foundation is releasing its Honor Your Caregiver campaign this May. The purpose of the program is to provide patients and their families with a way to thank caregivers for exceptional service. .

LCCH Foundation to Support New KidsFit! Program

 

Sam the Moose at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska inspired over 1,000 kids to walk 10,000 steps a day for 20 days as part of the hospital’s child wellness program.

Chelan, WA, June 12, 2013: Hospital Foundation gaining support for new health initiative to support local children. Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation is currently raising funds to roll out a new children’s wellness program this fall. The program will target children ages 5-11.
